A Day at Himveda
Mornings at Himveda begin quietly, with fresh Himalayan air, and a slower rhythm than most people are used to.
Depending on your program, the day may include consultations, therapies, guided meals, rest, short very gentle walks through the surrounding forest and evening meditation. Occasional educational sessions are designed to help you better understand your body and health.
We intentionally keep the environment simple, quiet, and treatment-focused so that attention remains on healing, rest, and genuine Ayurvedic living.

Accommodation
Our eight residential rooms are intentionally simple, quiet, and designed for individualized care and comfort during longer healing stays.
Each room includes:
- Attached washroom, balcony, natural light and ventilation
- Views of the forest, gardens, or surrounding mountains
Rather than luxury hospitality, the focus is on creating a calm and grounding environment that supports rest, treatment, and recovery.
Rooms are maintained with attention to cleanliness, comfort, and privacy throughout longer stays.
Housekeeping and linen changes are managed flexibly according to individual preferences and the nature of each guest’s stay, allowing the environment to remain both comfortable and minimally disruptive.

Food & daily meals
At Himveda, food is considered an essential part of the healing process.
Meals are freshly prepared according to Ayurvedic principles and adjusted based on the individual, the season, and the stage of treatment.
The emphasis is not on variety, but on supporting digestion, recovery, and clarity through simple, nourishing meals.

Therapy spaces
Therapies at Himveda are conducted in clean, well-maintained treatment spaces designed to support a calm and focused healing environment.
The therapy rooms are airy, hygienic, and equipped with the traditional Ayurvedic setup required for authentic treatments and Panchakarma procedures. Attention is given not only to the therapies themselves, but also to maintaining proper standards of cleanliness, comfort, and privacy throughout the treatment process.
Rather than creating a spa-like atmosphere, the focus is on simplicity, functionality, and an environment that supports rest, grounding, and therapeutic work.
Outdoor & natural spaces
The outdoor spaces at Himveda are kept natural rather than heavily manicured. Seasonal flowers, local plants, and medicinal herbs grow freely throughout the property, creating a quieter and more grounded environment that changes with the seasons.
Some of the herbs grown on the land are also used in our kitchen and Ayurvedic preparations. The natural setting supports local bird life and reflects the slower, less controlled rhythm of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Rather than ornamental gardening, the emphasis is on allowing nature to remain alive, functional, and undisturbed.
